So amazingly enough I was lucky enough to experience Spain's Euro Cup victory first hand. I can't even begin to tell you how crazy it was here. The girls and I went to Plaza Colon for the semi-final and final game. Basically its a giant plaza were 100,000's of people gather to party and watch the game on the big screens provided. Everyone comes dressed in red and yellow, paints their body and gathers to show their pride. Obviously these games were no joke to the locals and it was surprising a really tense and aggressive environment. None the less the victory was amazing, giving Spain's its first major title in 44 years. I can't help but think that this victory was a good omen for my trip (you know what I m talking about).
